Not every deck needs to be torn down. Often the frame is sound and the surface is done — so we replace decking and railings on good bones, tighten what wobbles, and swap the rotted boards and rusted hardware before someone's foot finds them. Full builds start at the ground: layout, footings, ledger flashed correctly against the house, then frame, decking, stairs and railings. Fences run from cedar privacy walls to picket and post-and-rail — set for the property line, the slope and the dog that tests every gap. And because painting and washing are our trades too, a graying deck or a faded fence can be washed, stained or repainted by the same crew that fixes it.
